Last weekend, Rebecca and I headed to Fundy again to take in more waterfalls found in the park. This time, we drove along the outskirts of the park along the 45 mile Road and visited Forty-Five River Falls, just off the dirt road. A neat covered bridge framed the falls, which flow under the roadway.
After some lunch (Rebecca enjoys ham sandwiches), we drove to the Dobson Link Trailhead near the north end of the park. From there, it was only a 45 minute, 3 km hike to Laverty Falls, including a little river ford just near the end. As always, Rebecca went crazy as soon as she saw the falls, wanting to head down to the water right away and throw rocks. The weather was overcast, but stayed a perfect temperature for hiking. Fall hiking is the best!
