This past weekend, we headed to visit Dean and Laura who moved to Saskatoon last fall. Beyond
chilling out with beer and clam, we spent the weekend traveling around the city, taking a tour of the University of Saskatchewan campus, the local zoo & city farm and mountain biking around the Saskatchewan River valley. One of the highlights of the trip was deep-frying a turkey with Dean’s new outdoor stove. We were able to cook a turkey in an hour — was it ever moist! We highly recommend it…makes a great quick meal.
