I took Jeff up Mt. Yamnuska during easter weekend, just so he could try out the scree. We had planned to do a traverse of Mt. Allan, but recent snowfall (visible from Yam that day) kept us from heading up there. It was my second trip to the summit and I had forgotten how much scree there was on the return trip. I took a couple of bouncy videos just for fun. There’s a few more photos on flickr, including some of a group that seemed to be doing a straight line traverse of the ridge. While we were on the summit, we could see them around the crux, but they had skipped the cable section entirely only to scramble the airy ridge. Interesting!
