Last weekend, I went up to the Sibbald Creek area to hike & snowshoe up Cox Hill. You’ll
know when
you’re at the trailhead as the Powderface Trail (road) is closed this time of year right by the parking lot at the trailhead. As for the hike, its a long affair, usually about 9 kilometers to the junction with Jumpingpound ridge. (I guess this area is perfect for mountain biking.) The views are nice though, with forest views mixed with rolling foothills and a peak here and there, including Moose Mountain. We ended up making it to a lookoff just before the summit, which was good travel
given the snow.
